Fire and Security Officer Job Description

The role of a Fire and Security Officer is to provide a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This involves providing services that ensure the safety and security of those within the campus.

Responsibilities include:

* Responding to assistance requests and activated emergency codes
* Participating in concierge duties

To be successful as a Fire and Security Officer, you will need to possess exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills when interacting with other disciplines, patients, and the public.

Requirements for the role include:

* A current Security Officer Licence
* Previous experience in a similar role at a hospital (preferable)
* Previous experience with Fire Safety Systems (desirable)
