Key Responsibilities
* Assembles components on the production line according to specifications and other instructions using a variety of tools and equipment.
* Supports quality, productivity, and process improvement initiatives.
* Records and reports faults to relevant areas of production.
* Conducts work quality checks to ensure products meet quality and safety standards.
Maintains a clean, well-organised safe work area in line with housekeeping processes. Maintains all equipment according to maintenance plans and procedures. Solves problems and troubleshoots as part of a team responsible for continuous improvement to products and processes.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience in similar or related roles.
* Possesses a tertiary qualification relevant to the position, such as certification in Mechanical or Electrical field; or workplace experience in relevant industries (Engineering, Automotive, Rail Construction, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Electrical/Electronics, Construction, Civil construction).
* Experience with office management software (MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Word).
