Developing and driving adoption of standards, tools and technologies for deployment and support teams are crucial to the success of this role. You will facilitate the delivery of Managed Services and support solutions comprising of Cloud and Data Center based platforms to Optus Enterprise and Government customers including incident management, problem management and Change planning and control as well as disaster recovery.We will only be considering Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents for this role*Your Day-to-DayHelp us keep our critical infrastructure and customer systems running smoothly by ensuring important issues get the attention they need.Play a key role in keeping our customers happy by communicating clearly, sharing your knowledge, and responding promptlyContribute to our exciting journey in supporting c utting-edge cloud computing, b ackup and on-site technologies within our next-generation data c entres .Learn and work within a structured environment that follows standard IT service management practices (based on ITIL principles).While certifications from major vendors or systems (like Windows, VMware, & Linux) are a plus, they're not a must-have – we value your potential to learn and grow!Act as an escalation point for more complex cloud computing and data centre issues that Tier 1 teams may encounter .This role operates between 7 am and 7 pm, Monday to Friday, with shifts provided at least four weeks in advance. There may be occasional after-hours work for planned changes, and you'll have opportunities to earn 'on call' allowances and overtimeWhat We're Looking ForWe're keen to hear from individuals who are enthusiastic about technology and eager to learn. While previous experience in networking is beneficial, it's not essential.
