About the Role
As a
Renewable Energy Systems Engineer
, you'll play a key role in designing and integrating MW-scale hybrid renewable energy systems that combine solar PV, thermal generation, and battery energy storage (BESS). This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that accelerate the transition to clean energy.
Key Responsibilities
System Design & Integration:
* Develop detailed designs for solar PV and hybrid systems using PVsyst.
* Size and analyze battery storage systems, including lifecycle performance.
Modeling & Analysis:
* Build energy flow and economic models using tools like HOMER.
* Optimize hybrid system performance through advanced modeling techniques.
Commercial Support:
* Contribute to bid preparation, cost analysis, and proposal development.
* Prepare accurate cost estimates based on engineering and procurement data.
Supplier & Compliance Management:
* Assess and qualify suppliers for PV, BESS, and control components.
* Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory standards.
What We're Looking For
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related field.
* Experience in power generation or renewable energy projects (preferred).
* Proficiency in PVsyst, HOMER, and advanced Excel skills.
* Strong knowledge of battery energy storage systems and hybrid integration.
* Excellent analytical, modeling, and problem-solving abilities.
