As a Registered Nurse in the Neuro-Cardiothoracic ward, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, patient-centred care across a diverse caseload. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to positive patient outcomes, support junior staff, and uphold the highest standards of clinical practice.
Skills and Experience
- Current Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
- Minimum 3 years\' experience in neurosurgical and/or cardiothoracic nursing
- Demonstrated experience in acute surgical/critical care hospital settings
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to safe practice, infection control, and continuous improvement
- Postgraduate qualification in critical care, neurosurgical, or cardiothoracic nursing
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff
- Competitive pay rates $41.70 - $50.98 per hour (experience-based)
