About the role We are seeking a highly skilled and suitably qualified Project Officer with experience in Project Controls and Scheduling to join our team. This task will work under limited direction to perform and achieve moderately complex tasks within an integrated workforce. They will liaise with stakeholders of all levels, building good working relationships and providing a point of contact for all enquiries. Please note that this role is based in Williamtown but is open to candidates located in Canberra with travel to Williamtown as required. The successful candidate Manage workflow and resources, prepare work area and team plans detailing measurable milestones and expected outcomes. Build and update Project Schedules, integrating Contracting Master Schedules and the production of an Integrated Master Schedule. Conduct Schedule Analysis such as Monte Carlo and Critical Path Analysis. Perform complex planning and execution of the Plan to assure delivery of fit for purpose including management of business/project/product scope, schedules, risks and resources. Support the Capability Manager with the development and progression of project/product submissions in accordance with System requirements, eg. gates, reviews, committees. Fundamental Input to Capability (FIC) integration and co-ordination through high stakeholder engagement and strong relationships. Undertake required Project/Product reporting using applicable management systems, eg. PPRIP, SPMS. Undertake Risk, Issue and Opportunity identification and management. Provision of SME guidance / mentoring to Business/Project/Product team members. Where applicable, recommend and implement appropriate course of action to progress work to meet business objectives, provide advice and guidance on very complex issues. Responsibilities Governance of the SPO’s business and achievement of objectives/milestones is actioned. Contributed to the achievement of Business, project and product objectives/milestones. SPO personnel are engaged and reasonably aware of their Business, Project/Product Management responsibilities. The project/product plan is executed to ensure project/product outcomes within cost, schedule and quality thresholds to meet service capability needs as detailed in MAA/MSA PdS. Delivered very complex procedural, operational, administrative and business management activities that support the delivery of outcomes across the SPO.
