The business was started in 2012 in Perth and has now grown to have 15 offices, principally in WA and 1 office in Sydney, but has an aggressive growth strategy to be National by the end of 2025. Providing accounting services to its clients is its core, and using its trust and reputation it has grown to provide additional advisory services to these clients. The business is expected to have more offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane by the end of the year.

We are looking for talented professionals to join our dynamic team across the South West, with opportunities available in our Busselton, Bunbury, and Margaret River offices. With the client base already in place, this ensures you will hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate enduring client relationships and enhance the reputation of our business brand by consistently delivering value and fostering trust within the community.
- Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
- Preparation of BAS and financial statements
- Preparation of taxation documents for end of year
- Compile and analyse financial statements
- Manage budgeting and forecasting
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with SME's - Individuals, Partnerships, Companies, Trusts and SMSF's
- In-depth understanding of current tax laws, including laws about pay-as-you-go, self-employment, business, and investment taxes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex tax matters in accessible terms
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills to help clients legally maximise their returns and reduce tax burdens
- Organisation and multi-tasking skills for working on several clients’ tax returns at once
- Computer and online literacy, including confidence using various accounting software and the Australian Taxation Office online portal
- Experience in Sage Handisoft highly regarded
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Qualified CA/CPA preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Australian taxation system preparing returns and activity statements
- Ability to interpret and analyse financial statements and periodicals
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
