About This Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled professional to provide administrative support and enhance brigade viability and service to the community.
This role involves:
* Coordinate daily administrative duties as required by the Brigade Management Team(s) to provide support to volunteers responsible for the delivery of services to the community
* Provide support with general administrative requirements including word processing, records management and accounting
* Undertake duties in relation to recruitment and retention of volunteer members of the brigade as required by the Brigade Management Team(s)
* Provide Brigade Management Team(s) with assistance in relation to correspondence, arranging activities and meetings.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with proven capability to develop and maintain relationships and manage expectations across multiple stakeholders. They will be someone who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment where they are a self-starter and keen to showcase their strong sense of initiative.
Critical to success in this role is hands-on experience working with and supporting volunteers and an ability to undertake varied administrative skills and information management.
