The Senior Maintenance Officer ensures the smooth and efficient operation of repairs and maintenance activities across Nesti's residential and commercial properties.
This role will also be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, repairs, and general upkeep to work with the maintenance team to maintain the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of properties managed by Nesti Housing.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform responsive and preventive maintenance tasks to minimise potential matters and ensure properties are in good condition.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards, including contractor inductions.
* Develop and coordinate ongoing routine maintenance schedules.
* Liaise with Property Management, clients, and tenants to address maintenance concerns and provide updates on maintenance schedules or potential disruptions.
About You
* Prior experience as a Maintenance Officer or similar role, preferably in the property management or community housing sector.
* Strong experience and knowledge of maintenance practices, repair techniques, and building systems.
* Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in Western Australia.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a high attention to detail.
