About the role
Real Steel Group is seeking applicants for the role of Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team, in our high-end industrial workshop. The successful applicant will be responsible for the fabrication of our in-house designed security components. The position is based in Queanbeyan, NSW and plays a vital role in supporting the company's growth and success.
What you'll be doing
· Review detailed drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
· Performing TIG welding for material thickness between 1.2mm-6.0mm
· Performing MIG welding for material thickness between 2.0mm-10.0mm
· Folding of Sheetmetal parts on our CNC Press Brake
· Working closely with the team to meet deadlines and achieve cost-effective outcomes
· Maintain a strong focus on quality, efficiency and safety standards
· Problem-solve and adapt to daily challenges on the workshop floor
What we're looking for
· Trade qualified in Sheet Metal Fabrication
· Strong TIG welding capability
· Experience working with Stainless Steel preferred
