Our Townsville Plant is currently searching for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our high performing team in a full-time capacity.
This is a unique opportunity to join a global organisation with a local community feel.
A $5,000 sign-on bonus will be offered to successful candidates (conditions apply).
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Engaging in making, fitting or repairing mechanical machines, instruments or appliances
* Fault finding and problem solving
* Undertaking continuous improvement of plant equipment and systems
* Being actively involved with inspections of equipment undergoing rebuild or repair
* Taking a proactive approach in the implementation of preventative maintenance
About You
* Must have Fitter and Turner trade qualifications
* Previous experience with maintenance/repair in a fast-paced manufacturing environment advantageous
* Ability to demonstrate integrity and a professional work attitude
* Sound computer skills
* Ability to work a rotating roster consisting of both day and afternoon shifts
