We are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and enthusiastic candidate to join our team as Compliance and Risk Officer (12-month Parental Leave Replacement). This position supports the Principal's Office and is based at our St Paul's Campus (SPC), Altona North.

Compliance and Risk Officer
Emmanuel College is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Compliance and Risk Officer to support the College's governance, compliance, and risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage compliance systems, including policy, risk, and visitor management platforms.
* Support Child Safe practices and oversee compliance for camps, retreats, and events.
* Maintain College policies, staff documentation, and compliance records.
* Coordinate VRQA, OHS, and contractor compliance requirements.
* Oversee staff compliance training (Child Safe, Mandatory Reporting, OHS, First Aid, Fire Training).
* Support staff inductions, VET contracts, and pre-service teacher placements.
* Provide administrative and event support to the Principal's Office.
About You
* Relevant qualifications in Risk, HR, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of Child Safe Standards, OHS, Privacy, and school compliance requirements.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
* Commitment to Catholic education.
Desirable
* Experience in a school environment.
* Understanding of Catholic school ethos.

Salary
The Compliance and Risk Officer salary and conditions are in accordance with the Education Support Employee – Category B scale under the applicable Catholic Education Agreement.
