Contract administrator

Brisbane
Co. Recruit

Offer description

Our client is a well-funded property development business specialising in the land lease communities sector across Queensland and New South Wales. Backed by an institutional investment group, the business is stable, growing and highly agile in its approach.

With a strong pipeline and long-term strategy, the company operates in a collaborative and professional environment, with a clear focus on compliance, customer experience and operational excellence, while retaining the flexibility of a boutique development platform.

The Role:

Reporting into senior management, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of purchaser contracts across the land lease communities portfolio - from Expression of Interest through to settlement and handover.

You will oversee the preparation, issue, execution, tracking and settlement of all purchaser documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, internal governance requirements and project delivery timeframes. Acting as the key liaison between purchasers, legal representatives and internal teams, you will ensure contracts progress efficiently while protecting the company's commercial and legal position.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing the full lifecycle of purchaser contracts, including EOIs, disclosure documentation, Home Purchase Agreements, Site Agreements, variations and settlement documentation
* Coordinating internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely contract progression and alignment with project milestones
* Overseeing settlement processes, maintaining accurate contract registers and CRM records, and monitoring key risks and compliance obligations
* Identifying and escalating contractual, compliance or process risks, while contributing to the continuous improvement of internal workflows

This is a detail-driven, process-focused role that sits at the intersection of Sales, Development, Finance and Operations, playing a critical role in pipeline conversion and settlement performance.

The Successful Candidate:

This role will suit someone comfortable operating across the full spectrum of contract management, from hands-on document preparation through to identifying issues, forming recommendations and progressing matters independently, without the structure of a large corporate environment.

You will bring proven experience in contract administration, conveyancing or settlements within property development, residential sales, retirement living or a similar sector. You will be highly organised and have a strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple contracts and settlements concurrently. You will be a confident communicator, able to engage professionally with a variety of stakeholders, and understand the importance of compliance, documentation accuracy and protecting commercial outcomes.
