About this Role
* As a Junior Desktop and Network Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless IT operations by providing exceptional desktop and network support.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting skills for Windows OS, experience in Active Directory management, proficiency in remote desktop software, strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, competence in network configuration and diagnostics, and experience in hardware repair and maintenance.
You will provide first-level support to desktop users, manage user accounts and security settings, administer Microsoft 365 tools and services, and employ SCCM for managing software distribution, patch management, and desktop configurations.
This role demands a proactive approach to troubleshooting and an eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic IT environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Desktop Support: Provide timely and effective support to desktop users, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
2. Network Management: Assist in the management and maintenance of network infrastructure to guarantee business continuity.
3. Remote Desktop Support: Utilize remote desktop software to resolve support incidents efficiently and enhance user experience.
4. Active Directory Management: Manage user accounts and security settings via Active Directory, maintaining enterprise security standards.
5. Microsoft 365 Administration: Administer Microsoft 365 tools and services, ensuring user access and productivity.
6. SCCM Management: Employ SCCM for managing software distribution, patch management, and desktop configurations.
7. Hardware Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and repair of hardware, ensuring readiness and functionality.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Mandatory Skill: Excellent troubleshooting skills for Windows OS
* Experience in Active Directory management to ensure efficient operation of user access and system security
* Proficiency in remote desktop software like TeamViewer to assist in remote troubleshooting and support
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration to manage productivity tools and email services effectively
* Competence in network configuration and diagnostics to maintain optimal network performance and connectivity
* Experience in hardware repair and maintenance for essential support and equipment upkeep
* Familiarity with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for deploying, managing, and updating enterprise systems
* Skills in imaging and reimaging desktop systems, ensuring rapid deployment and restoration of systems
