Project Engineer Role Overview
Our organization is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to lead the delivery of infrastructure projects across various regions. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to grow professionally and gain valuable experience in project management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and manage supervisors, site engineers, and sub-contractors to ensure quality requirements are met
* Track and forecast daily costs to understand cost-to-complete projections
* Establish effective communication channels with community groups, councils, and service authorities
* Identify, capture, and issue variations and extensions of time as necessary
* Proactively identify design and constructability issues and provide efficient solutions considering stakeholder interests and delivery teams
* A degree-level qualification in Engineering (Civil)
* 5 years' experience in project delivery for mid-to-large-scale civil projects
* Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage stakeholder interests effectively
* Professional acumen, excellent communication skills, and a strong focus on safety
