What You'll Do
As our Maintenance Officer, you'll be the go-to person for keeping our site in great shape. You'll:
4. Carry out general maintenance and repairs;
5. Mow, prune, and maintain gardens;
6. Coordinate with contractors and occasionally guide other team members and volunteers;
7. Stay on top of scheduled maintenance plans using our asset management system;
* Help ensure the safety and comfort of our residents and staff, every single day.
About You
You're someone who:
8. Has a trade qualification (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
9. Has knowledge of Work Health and Safety requirements, or ability to acquire with one month of employment.
10. Has experience in property maintenance, either in aged care, community housing, or a similar environment.
11. Can work independently but loves being part of a team.
12. Brings a can-do attitude and genuine care for others.
* Holds a valid driver's licence, and relevant checks like a Police Clearance - or the ability to obtain.
