Program Overview
Elevate your career journey through our School Based Traineeship Program by completing a Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics & Recreation.
Eligibility
* Minimum 15 years old.
* Currently in year 10 or year 11.
What You'll Learn
* Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics and Recreation (563 hours of paid, on-the-job training, usually completed in 12‐18 months).
* Industry qualifications including CPR, First Aid, Swim Teaching and opportunity to become a qualified Pool Lifeguard.
Areas of Experience
* Swim school management
* Teaching and customer service
* Operations and aquatic facility management
Career Pathways
After completing the traineeship you could progress to roles such as Swim Teacher, Pool Lifeguard, or Duty Manager.
