The Casework Assistant - Tribunal Support role plays a vital part in supporting the Legal Operations team with managing Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) applications.
This position is integral to ensuring the efficient handling of ART applications, allowing the team to focus on high-priority tasks and drive business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include analysing and assessing ART Applications received by the organisation, creating and updating records, and filing supporting documentation in business systems.
A crucial aspect of this role is preparing comprehensive ART case summaries to support matter management and allocation, as well as preparing and filing Tribunal documents within statutory time frames.
Additional duties involve providing support for interlocutory applications, instructing internal lawyers, assessing and responding to risk from processes, including privacy considerations, researching and drafting responses for complaints and other documents, and assisting in training and mentoring new starters.
Key Requirements
* Previous experience in an ART or dispute resolution environment.
* Paralegal or similar background.
* Ability to manage high caseloads with competing priorities.
* Highly organised, strong attention to detail, and analytical skills.
* Strong communication skills, dynamic work environment.
* Understanding of legislation relevant to ART Operations team.
