About the role:
We are seeking a Senior Security Representative to join our team, providing sound advice and leadership across a wide range of security activities to support critical programs and projects.
Day to day tasks include:
* Develop, administer and audit security programs for compliance with regulations and requirements associated with the protection of classified material, export controlled data, and proprietary information.
* Support all contractual security requirements for Projects and Programs.
* Provide support in managing the quality, schedule and cost expectations associated with program development and execution, while maintaining the fundamental security requirements defined by the customer/company and program.
* Apply business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges, and communicate observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners.
* Process clearances and customer visits and provide support for classified meetings
About you:
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (preferred in the Security domain) and/or equivalent relevant experience (preferably within the defence industry)
* Extensive experience working to Defence Industrial Security Program (DISP) requirements.
* Strong knowledge of:
* Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF)
* Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF)
* Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM)
* Completion and acceptance by the Defence Security Agency (DSA) for Security Officer training
* Proven capability in developing practical, innovative solutions to complex problems.
* Experience working in meeting regulatory and stakeholder expectations.
