The opportunity

We are seeking a Case Manager to join our Workers' Compensation Self-Insurance team based in Parramatta. As a Case Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end claims process, delivering a high-quality experience for injured workers and supporting their safe and timely return to work.


Your responsibilities

* Manage a portfolio of workers' compensation claims from end-to-end, ensuring timely and effective outcomes for injured workers and the business.
* Apply knowledge of self-insurance legislation to assess liability, coordinate treatment, and facilitate sustainable return-to-work plans.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, treating practitioners, and external providers to drive proactive claims management.
* Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in line with regulatory and audit requirements.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.
* Work within a supportive team environment that values expertise, collaboration, and professional development.


About you

* Experience in insurance and workers' compensation with understanding of relevant legislation and claims processes.
* Strong influencing capabilities with well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
* Customer-centric mindset focused on achieving optimal outcomes for injured workers and stakeholders.
* Resilience in managing complex and challenging scenarios.
* Effective time management and ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
