We are recruiting a brand new role within the Investment Market Risk team. This high performing team is focused on providing in-depth investment and liquidity risk analysis across a complex, multi-asset portfolio.
This role will lead the Fund’s liquidity risk stream, overseeing the liquidity risk management framework, stress testing, and regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in supporting and collaborating with investment teams to incorporate liquidity considerations into strategic asset allocation and portfolio construction decisions, helping drive more informed investment outcomes.
The role will also design the enhancement and maintenance of Cbus’ member contribution and cashflow forecasting capabilities, designing a forward-looking model that integrates insights from stakeholders. This modelling will be crucial for Fund-level liquidity projections and will directly influence investment strategy and capital planning.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the evolution of the Fund’s whole-of-portfolio risk management capabilities, with a particular focus on connecting liquidity and Fund resilience.
Your success will align to your background with;
* Proven experience in investment risk, liquidity risk, treasury or actuarial roles within the superannuation, banking, insurance, or asset management sector.
* Expertise in risk modelling techniques and multi-asset portfolios.
* Strong technical and analytical skills, with demonstrated experience in developing financial forecasting, cashflow, or liquidity models.
* Deep understanding of investment risk concepts, quantitative modelling, portfolio construction and stress testing.
