Lead Role Opportunity
As a key figure in the implementation of the Variation in Sex Characteristics (Restricted Medical Treatment) Act, this permanent Assistant Director role will provide an exciting opportunity for you to lead policy work and support the Variation in Sex Characteristics (VSC) Restricted Medical Treatment Assessment Board.
The VSC reforms underway in the Australian Capital Territory are leading the nation. We are seeking motivated officers with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments in a complex and sensitive area. You will be expected to work collaboratively across a range of areas within ACT Health, other ACT Government directorates, and external stakeholders. Effective communication and flexibility will be essential in your daily interactions.
This new role will be located within the LGBTIQA+ Health Policy Team and provide opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
