A motivated, commercially minded Sales Manager is sought for a 4-star hotel in Perth that is part of a respected hotel group operating across Western Australia. This role focuses on driving and retaining corporate business, strengthening existing client relationships, and delivering revenue growth through strategic account management and targeted sales activity.

Role Overview

* Job title: Sales Manager — Corporate Accounts
* Location: Perth, Western Australia
* Hours: Full time
* Reporting to: Hotel General Manager
* Primary focus: Manage and grow corporate business, retain and develop existing clientele, secure negotiated contracts and optimise room revenue from corporate segments.

Key Responsibilities

* Account management: Maintain and deepen relationships with current corporate clients, travel managers, TMCs and key local businesses.
* New business development: Identify, pursue and secure new corporate accounts aligned with hotel targets and city market strategy.
* Contract negotiation: Draft, negotiate and renew corporate, government and negotiated rate agreements ensuring commercial profitability.
* Revenue collaboration: Work closely with Revenue Management and Reservations to ensure accurate rate application, pick-up tracking and demand management.
* Sales tools & reporting: Manage CRM entries, produce weekly/monthly sales activity and pipeline reports, and present results to senior management.
* Bidding & RFPs: Respond to RFPs and tender requests promptly and professionally, tailoring proposals to client needs.
* Client visits & networking: Conduct on-site client meetings, site inspections, and attend industry networking events and corporate forums.
* Event coordination: Liaise with Events and Banqueting to drive conferencing and function business from corporate clients.
* Market intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, local corporate trends and industry developments to identify opportunities.

Essential Selection Criteria

* Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in hotel or hospitality sales with a strong focus on corporate accounts; experience in a 4-star or higher property preferred.
* Proven results: Demonstrated track record of retaining key accounts, growing corporate revenue and closing negotiated corporate contracts.
* Commercial acumen: Strong understanding of rate structures, negotiated contracts, pick-up management and revenue levers.
* Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, confident negotiator and presenter.
* CRM proficiency: Experience using Salesforce, Amadeus, Opera CRM or similar property/CRM systems and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
* Local market knowledge: Familiarity with Perth corporate market, major industries and business travel patterns.
* Licence: Valid Australian work rights; WA driver's licence preferred.
