Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner
This is a wonderful opportunity to make a real difference in the local community. As a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner, you will play a key role in our busy and fast-paced clinic, managing triage and treatment for patients.
The ideal candidate will have advanced clinical experience in assessment and treatment of illness and injury and health promotion relevant to the role and within individual scope of practice.
* Advanced clinical experience in assessment and treatment of illness and injury and health promotion relevant to the role and within individual scope of practice.
* Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to manage internal and external relationships in a complex organisational context, including cross-cultural settings.
* Ability to handle sensitive issues with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing triage and treatment for patients.
* Providing advanced clinical care, assessing and diagnosing patients, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans.
Requirements:
* AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
* Previous experience within an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Service is desirable.
