IELTS Operations Assistant

Job Description

Select how often you would like to receive alerts, and our IELTS Operations Assistant will ensure a smooth testing experience for all participants.

* Evaluate test environments to guarantee a fair and proper conduct of the testing process.
* Provide administrative and technical support to the Chief Invigilator and Test Center Manager, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
* Maintain a welcoming environment for customers, responding to their inquiries and needs in a timely manner.
* Create a positive customer experience at every contact point before, during, and after the test.
* Set up test rooms and equipment according to procedures and regulations.
* Verify and update customer details, ensuring accurate information is maintained.
* Monitor attendance during the test, handling queries and irregularities as needed.
* Ensure adherence to test rules and regulations throughout the examination process.

Key Responsibilities

1. Closely monitor the test environment to maintain a high level of security and confidentiality.
2. Distribute, collect, and securely manage test day materials.
3. Record details and manage late arrivals and early leavers, as well as other incidents during the test.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to achieve high-performance results.
5. Identify and assess customers' needs to provide exceptional service.

Requirements

In order to succeed in this role, you should have:

* Working rights within Australia.
* Proven customer service experience (minimum 1 year).
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Excellent communication skills (required) - able to communicate with candidates from various English-speaking countries.
* Flexibility to respond to changes in priorities and strong time management skills.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Availability to work on weekends.
* Tech-savviness and problem-solving skills.
* Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and basic diagnosis and troubleshooting abilities.

Benefits

This position offers a casual working arrangement with a competitive hourly rate of $33.77 per hour.
