Marketing Strategist – Consumer-Focused Role
This position plays a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies to maximize brand performance in Cross-Border eCommerce channels targeting Chinese customers and communities within Australia.
You will be responsible for order and rebate management, marketing support, sales planning, customer engagement, digital marketing, market and competitor analysis, budget monitoring, and channel strategy execution.
We are seeking an individual with excellent communication skills who can work cross-functionally and manage the relationship with external agencies.
A strong understanding of eCommerce and Social Media channels is essential, as well as experience in managing large trade events and executing marketing plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process customer orders and reconcile rebates accurately
* Assist in trade, consumer, and new product marketing plans tailored for the Chinese market
* Evaluate product performance and competitor activity in Australia and China to inform strategy
* Collaborate with agencies to create content for Chinese platforms like WeChat and RED (Xiaohongshu)
Requirements:
* Possess a Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate in Marketing, Business Administration or Business Studies, Commerce
* Prior internship or work experience with exposure to eCommerce or Digital Commerce related operations
* Good understanding or basic knowledge on eCommerce and Social Media channels for community
* Fluent in Mandarin (speaking and reading) and good command in English
* A local driving license for client meetups and possess local working rights at the point of employment
