The program
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our IT Service Desk Team as a volunteer. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in IT support, asset management, user access management within a dynamic and supportive environment.
The opportunity
* Provide first-level technical support to staff, including hardware, software troubleshooting over the phone and in person.
* Help maintain the IT inventory in the local head office.
* Help maintain inventory of IT assets and update documentation.
* Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, or audits.
* Escalate complex issues to the IT Service Desk team as needed.
* Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the world's largest humanitarian network.
The impact
As IT Service Desk volunteer, you will assist with day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting, and project-based tasks to help maintain and improve our IT services.

* For this role you will be required to undertake a National Police Check, which will be organised through Red Cross.
