Landscape Architect
Arcadia Landscape Architecture is an award‐winning, design and purpose‐driven landscape architecture and urban design practice located in Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to our Principal [specific studio location], you will be a creative force at Arcadia who will develop innovative and sustainable design solutions that shape world‐class environments from concept through to completion.
This is a unique [specify work type e.g. full‐time] opportunity to project a positive impact on the landscape architecture industry within a supportive, design‐led environment.
Join a relatively new studio designing the next chapter of Newcastle's evolution, from revitalised waterfronts to nature‐rich urban precincts. At Arcadia, you'll help shape a city where coastal lifestyle, affordability, and innovation come together in a way few places can offer.
* Assist with managing diverse projects from initial concept through to successful completion.
* Develop innovative and sustainable design solutions that push the boundaries of landscape architecture.
* Prepare comprehensive, detailed design documentation and technical specifications.
* Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Deliver projects strictly on time, within budget, and according to the agreed scope.
* Maintain project administration and documentation, ensuring reputation and quality are upheld throughout.
The expertise you'll bring
* ABachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related field.
* Demonstrated professional experience within the landscape architecture industry.
* Strong design and documentation skills with an eye for technical detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
* Growing project management and organisational skills within a project‐focused environment.
* A genuine passion for sustainability and a drive for innovative, forward‐thinking design.
