Remuneration
Total Remuneration Package valued up to $151,704.00. Base salary ranges from $87,550.00 to $133,846.00, plus leave loading and employer's superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Position Information
Gilgandra High School is an inclusive, culturally diverse rural school serving Wiradjuri, Kamilaroi and Wailwan Lands with a student body of 189, including 41% identifying as Aboriginal. The school supports academic, agricultural and sporting strengths and caters for diverse learning styles and abilities. It maintains three multi‑categorical classes and a Tutorial class for students with additional needs, underpinned by the Wellbeing Framework and the Wellbeing Hub (Bundyi Baayay). The school fosters strong community involvement and transition programs with feeder primary schools.
Relocation Support: A Relocation Support Payment of $5,000 to $8,000 is available for eligible applicants.
Specific Selection Criteria
Approval to teach Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) with knowledge of current curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements. Ability to design, implement and evaluate differentiated, evidence‑based teaching and learning programs to maximise engagement and achievement across diverse learners. Capacity to contribute to school sport and lead or support extra‑curricular initiatives that promote wellbeing and school connection. Robust communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community; ability to contribute to a collaborative faculty culture.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is required. If you do not hold full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, commence the application process when applying for this role.
Permanent full-time or permanent part-time appointments are encouraged. For part-time, the appointment will be at the requested FTE (0.1 to 0.9). Applicants on the eligibility list may be offered remaining FTE but are not obliged to accept. Further information available on the merit selection webpage.
