Support Worker for Children

This is a rewarding casual position that involves providing tailored support to children with Autism and neuro-developmental challenges.

As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission by promoting inclusion and encouraging children to reach their full potential.

* A passion for working closely with children, particularly those on the Autism Spectrum or with other neuro-developmental challenges.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide reliable, trustworthy support.
* Creativity, imagination, and a fun-loving approach to engaging with children in play-based activities.
* Adaptability, patience, and empathy when interacting with children of varying abilities.
* Proficiency in computer literacy and strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Commitment to providing 100% dedication to this role as a long-term career goal.
* Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work collaboratively as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience working with ASD/Neuro-divergent children (1 year minimum), current qualifications in Disability Services (Certificate 4 or higher preferred), and Blue Card (Working with Children) and Australian Police Check requirements. Additionally, First Aid Certification and CPR are essential.
