LGH radiology regularly has students from CSU, RMIT and Deakin universities, inclusive of 4th year positions.The LGH radiology department has an annual turnover of over 70,000 examinations and is staffed 24/7 with a mix of shiftwork and on call. Our equipment is all early to midlife and constantly being updated, recently acquiring 2 new CT scanners and 5 new ultrasound units.The Role:The Specialist Radiographer (Medical Imaging Practitioner) is responsible for performing basic and advanced diagnostic imaging including Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT) and/or Angiography radiographic imaging examinations, procedures and associated administrative tasks.
