Power and Water Corporation (Power and Water) is a Northern Territory Government (NTG) owned utility that operates across a geographic area of 1.3 million square kilometres and a range of diverse environmental conditions, ranging from the arid dry of the central desert to the tropical monsoon of the top end. Power and Water generates, transmits and distributes electricity, supplies water and wastewater treatment services across the Northern Territory for the benefit of residents, including remote and isolated Aboriginal communities and outstations.
We are looking for a Remote Development Officer to join our Power Engineering group. In this position you will support the Negotiated Connections and Transmission team deliver overhead transmission/distribution powerline design projects across remote and regional areas of the Northern Territory.
We are looking for someone who has proven experience and knowledge of overhead distribution design principals, that is able to review electrical designs from a range of stakeholders to ensure compliance with AS**** and internal Power and Water standards. We are seeking someone with strong communication skills and the capacity to utilise their project management expertise to deliver projects across remote and regional areas of the Northern Territory.
This is a unique opportunity where you will travel to remote and regional areas of the Northern Territory by both road and air.
