About the Role
Our Newcastle branch is currently seeking a Fire Alarm Technician or a suitably qualified licensed Electrician to join their service team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs and installation of various fire protection and electrical systems.
Your primary duties will include:-
* Carrying out repairs to fire protection equipment to Australian Standards including but not limited to, fire alarms and evacuation systems
* Routine testing in accordance with Australian Standards for fire protection equipment
* Liaising with customers, promoting a professional and friendly environment
* Ensuring compliance to Environmental Health and Safety requirements
* Completion of service records with the use of smart phone technology
We require someone with:
* Preferred to have Electrical Licence
* Prior industry experience
* Strong focus on safety
* Strong focus on quality and client satisfaction
* Good personal presentation
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
* Willingness to multi-skill into other areas of fire protection
* High level of computer skills
* Current Driver's Licence
Having Communications Cabling Registration would be an advantage but is not a necessity.
