Administration Officer - Part Time Admissions

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Admissions Officer to join our friendly, hardworking team. This part-time role involves Monday – Wednesday shifts with rotating start times at 6am, 8am, or 10am (8 hours including break).

Our Bookings and Admissions team offers development opportunities and a caring environment focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will interact with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) from various disciplines and have direct contact with patients.

The role includes checking in and admitting patients for private elective surgeries and public waitlist bookings. You will be responsible for effective and efficient patient administration activities in accordance with hospital policies.

High-standard customer service is essential and reflects in positive patient and stakeholder experiences.

To succeed, you should possess the following skills and attributes:

* Exceptional customer service skills, responding to patients and stakeholders in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner
* Operational efficiency with accurate and timely data entry
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Good time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities
* Understanding of medical terminology and/or health fund contracts
* High level of computer literacy
* Team-oriented attitude, promoting a professional and positive team culture, communicating effectively, and liaising with other departments such as front office, reception, and medical teams
