Project Officer and Manager Opportunities
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated professionals to join our team as Project Officers and Managers. These exciting roles will see you working on a range of non-residential building projects, including hospitals, schools, police stations, fire stations, sports facilities, and cultural venues.
As a Project Officer, you will be responsible for managing project outcomes and project management of low to medium value and risk projects. You will work closely with local industry and regional client agencies to promote whole-of-government policies and objectives.
The Project Manager role involves the delivery of infrastructure projects and programs, including the project management of medium to high value and risk projects. You will lead public and private sector professionals to plan, deliver, and maintain buildings for Government.
To succeed in these roles, you will need to possess proficient project management skills, preferably with experience in managing concurrent, non-residential building and/or maintenance projects and programs. Excellent communication skills, including engaging with clients and contractors, are also essential.

About You
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about supporting local communities through the delivery of high-quality services to maintain, build, or restore infrastructure. You will understand the challenges involved in delivering building and construction projects, maintenance, and related services, particularly within a regional context.
You will possess excellent communication skills, including engaging with clients and contractors, and well-developed written skills, for preparing tender documents. An understanding of the challenges and experience working in regional areas would be beneficial.
