Group Director Capability and Delivery

* Total Remuneration Package Range starting from $272,304 - $297,250
Your role
As the Group Director, Capability & Delivery, you will lead the uplift of organisational capability across Corrective Services NSW by shaping performance reporting, strengthening governance, and ensuring high‑quality delivery of offender programs, workforce training and strategic initiatives. You will drive the systems, insights and standards that underpin operational excellence, providing authoritative advice to senior leadership and ensuring CSNSW is equipped with an engaged, capable and future‑ready workforce. Your leadership will directly influence service quality, practice consistency and the organisation's ability to achieve key outcomes in safety, rehabilitation and community confidence.
What you'll do
As the Group Director Capability and Delivery, you will:
* Lead the development of robust performance reporting, analytics and quality assurance frameworks to strengthen organisational transparency, decision‑making and accountability.
* Oversee governance, audit and enterprise risk functions, ensuring effective controls, strategic oversight and timely management of emerging risks.
* Drive the effective delivery and continuous improvement of offender programs, service standards and training frameworks, ensuring programs achieve intended outcomes.
* Lead the CSNSW Academy to uplift workforce capability, build leadership strength and embed a rehabilitative culture across custodial and community operations.
* Provide expert, evidence‑based advice to senior executives, government partners and justice sector stakeholders to support long‑term strategy, system improvements and organisational reform.

What we're looking for
* Extensive senior executive experience leading strategy, capability uplift, policy, program performance or organisational development in large, complex environments.
* Strong expertise in performance reporting, governance, audit, risk management and quality assurance frameworks.
* Demonstrated ability to lead large, dispersed and multidisciplinary teams, driving cultural uplift, capability growth and high‑performance outcomes.
* Highly developed strategic, analytical and influencing skills, with the ability to shape system‑wide priorities and partner effectively across government and industry.
* A commitment to ethical leadership, cultural safety, inclusion and high‑performance environments, supported by relevant qualifications and executive‑level experience.
