The Humelink project, a UGL/CPB Joint Venture, is one of NSW's major regional infrastructure programs, in 6 months going from zero to over 300 waged employees and expected to grow to between 500-750. With a high‐volume, weekly pay, this fast‐moving role will work with complex timesheet data from multiple Supervisors across multiple sites in the Wagga/Riverina area.
This newly created position is based out of the project office in Haymarket, Sydney, and sits at the centre of ensuring our people are paid correctly, our processes run smoothly, and our systems evolve to meet the needs of a rapidly growing project.
About the role
We are seeking a hands‐on Pay/Time & Attendance Lead to oversee the end‐to‐end weekly processing of workforce time, allowances and entitlement data.
You'll act as the senior point of coordination across supervisors, site administrators, the corporate payroll team, and the project's new system. Provide expert advice, lead a team of 2, and play a key part in improving processes, solving issues early, and building a more accurate, consistent service.

Key responsibilities
* Oversee the full weekly timesheet and attendance/complex entitlements process, ensuring accurate EBA interpretation, complete data from supervisors, and clean uploads into SAP, and resolve worker pay issues quickly and professionally.
* Drive accuracy and improvements by validating data, and reduce manual EBA entitlement interpretation.
* Strengthen process governance by improving reporting, quality checks, and timeliness, significantly reducing pay issues and data inconsistencies.
* Provide guidance to the team, building capability and consistency.
* Support system transition.

* Hands‐on high‐volume blue‐collar payroll experience with strong EBA interpretation and accurate application of special rates and entitlements.
* Strong Excel skills.
* Comfortable leading a small team.
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced project environment with changing data, rapid growth and competing demands.
