* Security Technician
* Gate Technician & Fencing Installer
* Security & Automation Trade Assistant

About the Roles
Security Technician
You'll install, service, and maintain electronic security systems across residential, commercial, and government sites.
Your work will include:
* Installing & commissioning alarms, access control, CCTV, and intercoms
* Fault‑finding and repairs
* Routine maintenance and upgrades
* System programming and configuration
* Accurate documentation using mobile workflow tools
* Working independently and supporting junior team members
Ideal for: Experienced security techs or electricians with security experience.
Gate Technician & Fencing Installer
You'll work on automated gates, fencing, and access hardware — from fabrication and installation to commissioning and repairs.
Your work will include:
* Installing automated swing, sliding, and boom gates
* Servicing motors, control boards, safety devices, and access interfaces
* Installing steel, aluminium, and timber fencing
* Site preparation, concrete footings, and post installation
* Integrating intercoms and access control
* Troubleshooting and repairs
* Documenting work using mobile tools
Ideal for: Gate installers, fencing installers, mechanical/automation techs, or tradespeople with hands‑on experience.
Security & Automation Trade Assistant
A hands‑on role designed for someone who wants to build a long‑term career in electronic security, automation, and electro‑mechanical systems.
You'll learn and assist with:
* Cabling, mounting hardware, and site preparation
* CCTV, alarms, access control, intercoms, and automated gate installations
* Basic wiring, testing, and configuration under supervision
* Troubleshooting and system checks
* Tool handling, equipment care, and stock management
Ideal for candidates with:
* Interest or experience in electronics, electro‑mechanical systems, automation, or similar technical fields
* Ability to use hand and power tools safely
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Manual driver's licence (preferred)
Please note:
This is a technical pathway role suited to applicants who want to grow into a technician position. If you're seeking general labouring work, this role won't be the right fit.

* Security Installer's Licence, Cabling Licence, or Restricted Electrical Licence (or willingness to obtain)
