Court Support Specialist

This 12-month part-time position involves providing vital support services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples attending Domestic and Family Violence Courts. As a Court Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Practical Support: Providing clear explanations of court procedures, orders, documents, and processes to clients, ensuring they feel empowered and confident throughout their journey.
2. Linking Services: Facilitating connections between clients and relevant service providers, such as counseling and domestic and family violence services, to ensure they receive comprehensive support.
3. Court Attendance: Regularly attending scheduled court dates to provide ongoing support and guidance to clients.
4. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, service referrals, and other important information.
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including community organizations and government agencies.
