The organisation designs and manufactures specialised diagnostic technologies used by laboratories and research organisations globally. This role will focus on building new commercial relationships with organisations developing and commercialising diagnostic tests, while helping expand the company's global customer base. Working closely with the senior leadership team and an existing international sales presence, you will focus on developing new relationships with diagnostics developers, life sciences companies, and research laboratories. Key Responsibilities include: Identify and develop new business opportunities with life sciences and diagnostics organisations globally Build relationships with laboratories, diagnostic developers, and research groups Convert inbound leads generated through marketing initiatives and industry exhibitions Represent the organisation at international industry conferences and trade exhibitions Develop strategic partnerships within the diagnostics and life sciences ecosystem Support marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness and lead generation Work closely with engineering and technical teams to understand product capabilities and customer needs Contribute to the growth of the company's international commercial presence Your Profile We are looking for a commercially driven professional who is comfortable operating within a technical B2B sales environment. You will likely bring: 5-10 years experience in business development, technical sales, or commercial roles Exposure to biotech, life sciences, diagnostics, laboratory equipment, or scientific instrumentation Strong ability to build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders The confidence to engage with highly technical customers while maintaining a consultative sales approach A personable and genuine style - confident but not overly sales driven Strong analytical thinking combined with a proactive mindset Experience working with international customers will be highly regarded This role suits someone who enjoys complex technical sales cycles and long-term relationship building with specialised customers.
