About the role Day to day you'll coordinate and track operational tasks, support project delivery, handle reporting and administration, and liaise with teams, contractors, and community partners - keeping regional operations running smoothly and on time. This isn't a purely desk-based role. You'll split your time between coordination work and genuine field exposure across parks, reserves, and remote locations. You'll work alongside Traditional Owners, conservation teams, and community groups, contributing to outcomes that are visible, tangible, and lasting. About Parks Victoria We're a passionate, purpose-driven team committed to protecting and enhancing Victoria's remarkable parks and natural environments. We work collaboratively across disciplines - from on-ground operations to community engagement - bringing together diverse expertise to deliver meaningful outcomes for people and nature. We're looking for someone with: Hands-on experience in operational or technical programs - ideally in public land, conservation, or natural resource management - backed by relevant qualifications in environmental management or a related field. You'll bring solid coordination skills, sound knowledge of park and conservation operations, and a practical understanding of workplace safety and compliance. Experience working with contractors, volunteers, or community groups is a plus, as is a current Victorian Driver's Licence. Beyond the technical, we value someone who takes initiative, communicates openly, builds strong working relationships, and approaches challenges with a problem-solving mindset.
