Our client, a well-established and respected financial services firm with offices in Geelong and Torquay, is seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to join their team on a 12-month maternity leave contract, with the possibility of ongoing employment. This is an exciting opportunity to be the face of a client-focused practice that prides itself on delivering exceptional service and maintaining a warm, professional environment. You will ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the office while providing high-level administrative support to the broader team.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
* Manage a high volume of incoming phone calls with confidence, clarity, and courtesy
* Respond to general enquiries accurately and efficiently
* Provide scheduling and calendar support to the advice team
* Maintain a clean, organised, and client-centric reception area
* Follow established systems and processes to ensure smooth operations
* Provide general administrative support to the wider team as required
Skills and Abilities
Essential:
* Previous experience in reception, administration, or client service
* Professional handling of phone enquiries and client interactions
* Warm, professional, and client-focused approach
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Desirable:
* Experience within financial planning or professional services
* Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Xplan)
* Understanding of financial services processes and terminology
