**About the role**
Our client, a reputable business, is seeking an experienced accounts payable or accounts officer professional to join their team on a part-time basis. Working with this supportive and friendly team-oriented environment, the role will suit an accounting professional who has accounts payable experience and is looking to work for a growing company.
**The Responsibilities**:
Reporting directly into the Accounts Payable Supervisor, your daily duties will include but not be limited to:
- Data entry of high-volume invoices
- Matching, batching and coding of invoices
- Managing the Accounts Payable inbox and responding to supplier enquires.
- Reconciliation of bank and supplier reconciliations.
- Coordinate the accounts payable system, including vendor details, record of payments and filing systems
- Respond to all vendor enquires
- Assist with weekly and month end closing
- Other ad hoc tasks as required

**The successful applicant**:
- Previous experience within an accounts payable
- Experience in high volume experience
- Strong attention to detail.
- Be a team player
- Hold a friendly and positive attitude
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Able to start immediately
- 4-5 years experience in an Accounts Payable position
