Your new companyThis is a well‐established 2‐Partner boutique accounting firm located on the Adelaide city fringe. With a close‐knit team of 12 and a strong reputation for genuine, long‐term client relationships, the firm provides a caring, community‐focused and family‐friendly environment. You'll be joining a practice that prides itself on personal connection - including face‐to‐face client engagement - while supporting a balanced, supportive workplace culture. The firm works with a diverse portfolio of clients, including high‐net‐worth individuals and small to medium enterprises. You'll enjoy free parking (street and six dedicated onsite spaces), regular in‐house monthly tax training, and a social culture with birthday drinks, Friday drinks from 4pm, an EOFY dinner with the Partners, and a Christmas lunch to celebrate the year.
Your new role
As a Senior Accountant / Client Manager, you will take ownership of a well‐established portfolio of clients, managing end‐to‐end compliance and advisory work.
* Build strong face‐to‐face relationships with clients.
* Prepare and review work across companies, trusts, individuals and SMSFs (using Xero Tax and BGL).
* Manage client workflows, ensure deadlines are met, and uphold a high standard of service.
* Deliver work to Partner review within a flat, collaborative team structure.
* Support junior team members when required, contributing to a positive team culture.
Your client base will consist of approximately half high‐net‐worth individuals and half SME clients, providing a varied and engaging workload.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will bring:
* Experience in public practice accounting, ideally with exposure to SME and high‐net‐worth clients.
* Strong technical knowledge across tax and business services.
* Experience with Xero (Tax) and BGL (SMSF) is highly regarded.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging directly with clients.
* The ability to manage your own portfolio and deliver quality work for Partner review.
* A collaborative mindset suited to a caring, community‐oriented team environment.
