As part of this transformation, we're seeking a Data Engineer with strong data fluency to support regulatory data fulfilment across two high-impact programs This role will be instrumental in re-engineering regulatory data pipelines as part of a simplification program affecting policy and claims platforms. You will ensure that data submissions are aligned with updated AFSL structures and meet internal and external compliance requirements. What You’ll Be Doing Collaborate with data engineering teams to analyse and rework existing SQL code for regulatory data submissions. Re-engineer datasets and workflows to ensure accuracy across new AFSL-aligned entities. Validate code outputs and facilitate approvals for compliance reporting. Work with the Delivery Lead to ensure timely and structured delivery of tested, production-ready code. Provide input across testing, reconciliation, and documentation of regulatory changes. Key Skills and Experience 5 years of experience in data-centric roles as a Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Data Engineer. Proficiency in SQL, DBT, Postgres, and BigQuery. Strong understanding of data validation, regulatory reporting, or insurance/financial data structures. Comfortable working across structured delivery frameworks in regulated environments. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong eye for data accuracy and traceability. Bonus Skills Familiarity with insurance claims or policy systems. Understanding of AFSL/licensing structures or financial compliance data. Experience in cloud-based analytics stacks (e.g., GCP, AWS). Why This Role?
