Maven Dental Cairns City has a Full-time Receptionist position available at our large city practice. We are a 6-chair practice with a general anaesthetic facility operating weekly.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a dental assistant or dental receptionist. Experience with D4W software and basic knowledge of Microsoft applications are required.
Job Description
As our Dental Receptionist, you'll be the friendly face that greets our patients and the organizational whiz behind our smooth operations. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
* Welcoming and assisting patients with a warm, professional demeanor
* Scheduling appointments and managing the appointment book efficiently
* Handling patient records with accuracy and confidentiality
* Coordinating with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care
* Managing patient inquiries both in person and over the phone
* There will be an aspect of dental assisting, on an ad‐hoc basis as needed.
Qualifications
* Have a minimum of 2 years experience working as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist.
* Certificate III in Dental Assisting is advantageous.
* Experience in D4W software and basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Experience with file keeping and data entry.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
