Overview
Psychologist role at RSL Queensland with Mates4Mates, delivering evidence-based psychological support to veterans and their families. Reports directly to the Clinical Lead – Psychological Services. You will undertake psychological assessments and design, evaluate, and implement tailored evidence-based therapies to support positive outcomes.
This opportunity is with RSL Queensland and its subsidiary Mates4Mates, a veteran-focused charity providing mental health and rehabilitation services, skills-based recovery programs, and social connection activities.
Base pay range
A$134,000.00/yr - A$134,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based and informed psychological treatments to veterans and their families.
- Undertake psychological assessments with clients, and design, evaluate, and implement tailored therapies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and work autonomously as required.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology and full unconditional registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a psychologist.
- Experience developing and implementing treatment plans to meet psychological needs of clients.
- Proficiency with technology and software (including CMSs).
- Ability to work autonomously and within a broader team.
- Strong exposure to delivering psychological or related services to current or ex-serving Defence personnel is advantageous.
