**Where you'll be working**

**What you'll be doing**
To provide overall leadership for physiotherapy services across NBHS. To align physiotherapy direction with NSLHD /NBHS strategic and operational plans. To maintain, review and develop comprehensive physiotherapy services across NBHS. To be aware of and assess the changing needs of the community and LHD so that all available resources are maximally utilised and prioritised to provide the required services. To provide a comprehensive physiotherapy service to NBHS by ensuring adequate staffing, skill mix and equipping of physiotherapy treatment areas within available resources. To maintain the code of ethics of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. To assist with the transition to the Northern Beaches Hospital. The work requires considerable co-ordination, and the position is responsible for human, physical and financial resources. This position contributes directly to the development of policy for the work area and must have a sound understanding of the broader policy and strategic context programs, strategies and priorities are generally decided at a higher management level, but this position has the authority to decide how to achieve results within the limits of available resources. Decisions have direct consequences on the achievement of results for the area for which this position is responsible

- Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy and registered with the National Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA) and current NSW drivers licence.
- Varied and extensive clinical experience across multiple settings including the embedding of evidence based practice in care delivery.
- Comprehensive skills in human resource management as it relates to physiotherapy services including performance management, workplace change management, workforce recruitment and retention strategies.
- High level written and interpersonal communication and negotiation skills with experience in communicating with patients, carers, staff, management and executive.
