About The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors and trades, driving programme outcomes, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

You will play a critical leadership role on site, managing construction activities across multiple work fronts while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead all site-based construction activities from commencement through to completion
* Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSE requirements
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, plant, and materials to maintain programme outcomes
* Monitor quality standards and proactively manage defects and non-conformances
* Develop and maintain short-term construction programmes in line with the master programme
* Manage trade sequencing and site logistics to minimise disruption and delays
* Chair subcontractor and project coordination meetings
* Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, authorities, and stakeholders
* Mentor and lead Site Supervisors, cadets, graduates, and construction workers
* Support Indigenous engagement, participation, and culturally safe work practices across projects
Skills & Experience
* 8-15 years' experience in commercial construction
* Relevant tertiary qualifications, trade qualification, or strong industry experience
* Proven experience delivering projects safely and within programme constraints
* Strong leadership and subcontractor management capability
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to identify and manage construction, safety, and programme risks
* Strong understanding of construction sequencing, logistics, and site operations
* Commitment to quality outcomes and continuous improvement
* Strong computer literacy and ability to use a variety of software
