Our client is a renowned, global company who provide a full range of environmental services in the fields of water solutions, waste management solutions and energy solutions, and they are currently experiencing a strong growth phase. With an established base in the western suburbs, they work on stormwater and sewerage networks throughout Brisbane. **What will you be doing?**
As a Trade Assistant or Operator, you will be part of a crew who service and maintain critical sewage and water infrastructure networks. This job will take you on the road in state of the art trucks fitted out with the best gear to get the job done. As part of a team you'll be driven to support your colleagues, adhere to strict safety rules and bring a positive attitude to your work. With the right attitude and team fit, you will have the opportunity to grow with the company into a permanent role and train into more senior positions. Key duties include:
- Safe operation of the vehicle and/or equipment in line with safety requirements
- High pressure water jetting to perform maintenance
- Some confined space entry - if you are comfortable to do so
- Adhering to work schedules and timelines to achieve team KPI's
Working hours are generally 6am to 2pm with the opportunity for overtime and night shift work (if you want it).

- Current drivers' licence (manual or automatic) at a minimum, HR or MR licence would be highly regarded
- Construction White Card or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to pass a full medical assessment including fitness testing
- Previous experience in a trades role or in outdoor work would be ideal
- A proactive attitude and ability to follow strict safety requirements.
